Fury of the Mountain. Are you ready for another great rescue? Today we visit a volcano eruption site to help with an evacuation. Volcanic eruptions happen when lava and gas are discharged from a volcanic vent. The most common consequences of this are population movements as large numbers of people are often forced to flee the moving lava flow.
Gerald is a rescuer extensively trained in firefighting. Primarily to extinguish hazardous fires that threaten life, property and the environment. As well as to rescue people and animals from dangerous situations. Recently a volcano erupted near a close by village. Small seismic tremors inside the volcano have been recorded these past months, but the volcano woke up last night and dropped a large amount of lava and dust.
Gerald was called as part a leader of firefighters to lead the evacuation of the village. His task is to prepare the site so that helicopters and trucks can evacuate the villagers securely. He has to direct the people to temporary assembly areas to await transfer to a safe location. He’ll need our help to move all the items that are in the way.
