Emerald Trackers. Emerald is a gemstone and a range of the mineral beryl colored green by trace amounts of chromium and at times vanadium. With its incredible color and great clarity, this gem attracts a lot of attention since always. Emeralds in ancient times have been mined in Egypt ever since 1500 BCE, and India, and Austria since at least the 14th century CE.
However, today Colombia is without a doubt the world’s greatest producer of emeralds, having 50–95% of the world production, with the number depending on the year, source and grade, while Zambia is the world’s second biggest producer of this gem. But also there are some places that are not that well known that also hide a lot of emeralds but their locations are kept as great secrets.
For example the forest names Erf is one of those places that hide a huge secret. According to the local legend the mountain Erf hides the greatest green diamond that was brought by the Crusaders and hidden deep in the unreachable regions of the forest, that deep that no one managed to find it yet. However, one group of diamond seekers has heard about this diamond and has decided to start a quest all through the inaccessible areas of the forest in order to find this particular diamond, before someone else find it out. This would be a very hard mission because according to the legend, it is supposed that the emerald is hidden so far that it would be quite difficult to get there, and even more difficult to start digging the place.
